The Tropical Doll Study Club of Lakeland, Florida was founded by Jeanne Niswonger in 1977.
Meetings are held on the first Sunday of the month at Saint David's Church on Edgewood Drive in Lakeland, September through May.
As a Chapter of Region 9 of the United Federation of Doll Clubs, Inc, the club is active in support for various charities.
The highlight of each meeting is the program presented by members or an invited special guest.
Each year we choose a theme and design some of our programs around it.
This year's theme is based on activities for the 7 days of the week. Washing, ironing, baking, shopping, sewing and mending keep Dolls and Bears very busy. Please enjoy the slideshow below.
